Priscila! Make me an utter!

Guess what Scott picked up today??

It lactates…

It’s smelly…

It’s super duper cute….

and the pups are afraid of it…

Yuppers! We’s got a calf!

well 4 technically… but only one is ours!

How precious are they??

I think almost anything in ‘baby’ form is cute!

except spider babies. They just give me the shivers and i can’t help but think they could be anywhere!

Family, friends- i can guarantee you we’re not going crazy.

I swear.

The garden, the sheep and the cow will all be practical in the near future.

I married a practical man

on to a cute picture!

Scott and one of the calfs! Awwwww!!!

Man… that boy needs a haircut stat!!

This calf is holy… It’s head! It glows!!

Just kidding! I’m in no way sacrilegious!

  2. Aunt Caren says:

MMOOOO I have had fresh unprocessed cow.. make sure you feed her/him a lot of great tasting grass so that she will taste better. Better yet, feed her chocolate grass so her milk will be chocalaty too.. and she will taste like a chocolate bunny at easter, with smaller ears, but a longer tail!

  3. Chris says:

And peter wants to know. Is it an eating cow, or a milk cow. Argentines are that way, you know!

    • Kelsey says:

It’s a both! haha! it’s a mix but we’re going to eat him eventually

      • Mary says:

If it’s a him, how is it a milk cow? Tom is curious where you got the calfs and where you are keeping them?

        • Scott says:

Well the breed is the breed they use for milk cows. They are taller and don’t produce as much meat. But they were only 50 bucks as opposed to 350 like the Angus were going for.

  4. Chris says:

I live next door to a dairy farm. Cats love it. We watch the cows run back and forth. Our Bishop is the farmer, and every now and then, one of the cows gets out and wanders through the hood prompting calls to the Bishop “come get your cow!”
