Hello everyone!! How was your 4th??

I hope you lit off tons of fireworks!

We did and it was fun- and of course the boys all enjoyed themselves.

Nothin’ like men bonding over concocting bombs.

Our 4th started with Eleanor grinding her engine, then stalling on us and then leaving us stranded on the freeway.

But the hubs and i kept our cool because neither of us wanted to reuin our favorite holiday.

She is currently getting diagnosed… and has left us carless

obla-di obla-da!!!

Thankfully Scott’s cousin rescued us and invited us over to celebration with them which was a blast! We loved visiting with family from out of town, holding cute little babies, meeting new friends and eating delicious food.

but unfortunately my camera died while i tried to take a picture of our car being towed so we have no 4th pictures to show you

So right now i’m at work subbing for a fellow teacher.

I love my job, i really do but today the girls were testing my patience.

We were all tired and hungry- including me ;)

but i had a schedual and wanted to follow through with it

Todays was 30 min of African dance and 30 minutes of volley ball.

but the girls either wanted to play with the cats or sleep and i seriously heard every excuse under the sun this morning.

but we (I) made it through and the girls still laughed and enjoyed themselves even if it was kind of obnoxious

Something i’ve learned today is that i can come with a plan, but it really depends on the girls and my determination.

So i’ve decided i’m going to bribe them to be little angels- with candy and cupcakes and cookies

Yeah i know i’m teaching PE and health but these are teenage girls who will do a 100000 push us for some yummy baked goods :)

This is North campus-where i work!

Scott! Theres a hot air balloon in the backyard!!!

This morning at 6:30am hot air balloons filled the sky.

Of course we were asleep- but we did attempt to get up. my alarm went off and everything but.. yeah..

however, this morning (around 7) while i was getting ready for work, i got to see one float right past our window and in and over our backyard!

So cool right?

Well, since i basically woke Scott up with my spastic screams and i was already semi-dressed for work we decided to hit up the end of the hot air balloon festival.

And we got to ride in a tethered balloon fo’ freeeeeee!

Awesome right?!?!

Oh man! and it was totally awesome!

Oh and I love Eleanor.

Like a lot.

and this morning she looked radiant

“Gotta go get me some damies”

This is my brother Gregory. We call him Greggie. He’s a stud with cool shades.

He came all the way down from Rexburg to visit us! What a sweet lil’ bro right?

He helped Scott with Eleanor, hence the greasy blackish hands.

He also can do super cool tricks on his body board!

He’s 18 and single! (ow ow!) He loves to longboard and has a cool watch that can tell you the orbits of the moon and sun. (ok.. not really. but it looks like it!) He also loves long walks across campus and loves to cook romantic dinners

Mahahahahahahahahah

Ok, i’m done I promise.

Anywho… We loved having you here!!

Please come back now ya here!

The dogs are basically our furry children. Sad right?

Today we took the dogs out to the Clyde family pasture to have a picinik and to play frisbee. {I seriously couldnt get over how green it was!!!}

We ate our yummy lunch while the dogs sniffed and begged for a morsel of our food. We gave in and tossed them an apple core and some orange peels.

They’re slightly pathetic in that “i’ll eat anything!” sort of  way.

Artie and Scott played frisbee while I took pictures. Leo, well, have you read/watched Ferdinand the Bull? Well, thats Leo. He just likes to eat flowers and roll around in the grass. Occasionally he’ll chase a butterfly and a do his cute spastic puppy sprints. It’s precious really.

Well Leo was being his usual cute self and doing all sorts of funny rolls, spazzy leaps and rubbing every inch of himself all over this section of grass.

So naive we are.

We walked over to get a closer look at our incrediably adorable puppy with hopes of capturing these precious moments on camera. but as we got closer we realized it wasnt grass he was rolling around in- it was a huge dead decaying bird!!!

Puke worthy right?

He was rubbing all its stanky juices on him as if it were a designer perfume!

Slimy, possibly diseased, defiantly smelly adorable puppy.
