Little-big brothers mission farewell

This weekend the hubs & i took a little trip down south for my brothers mission farewell!

My brother Greg will be serving a 2 year LDS mission in Mexico City, Mexico!

He reports Wednesday May 23rd and is pretty much going to be missed like crazy!

I seriously can’t believe he’s old enough to be going on a mission!!!!!

Happy Monday!

I’m slowly recovering from a chocolate and a baklava coma. I just might be in a sugar haze for the rest of the day.

Seriously-celebrating my 24th birthday yesterday & celebrating Mothers day was fabulous for my taste buds and heart. but very bad for my ever growing hips and baby weight maintaining.

Baby boy was literally swimming in chocolate by the end of the last night. But i don’t think he opposed. He seemed to really enjoy it actually- since he was practically up all night moving his little limbs around.

It was a great weekend though!

The hubs doted on me and baby boy extras yesterday (lots if kisses for the bump & i) which of course we loved!

It’s Friiiiidaaaay!

This Saturday and Sunday we have the opportunity to listen to our church leaders in a semi-annual live broadcast known as General Conference!

I love General Conference weekend..

p.s check out Octobers GC weekend post! I was so teeny and normal sized and totally oblivious to what was growing inside of me! Craayzeee!

I like to call GC weekends ‘thou shalt wear pajamas all the day long and eat yummy food till you burst’ weekend.

and seriously, as of now, i have 6 possible breakfast recipe tabs open on my computer.

This weekend will be full of…

Excellent advice and talks. Delish food. Weekend spent with the hubs with no homework or work in sight. Happy baby enjoying the tasty food and the company of mama and daddy. and finally an excuse to wear jammers all day long- complete with rat nest top knot hair-do. Oh and we may venture outside for a little hike or two!
